Join Alexander Raa Nilsen and Voss Resort Ski School for a carving course. We have courses for both ladies and gentlemen. We will give you good tips, help you perfect your technique and find the feeling of mastery in a safe and friendly environment.
Carving course for ladies
This is a course for women who want to develop their skiing skills and gain more power and stability in their carving technique. We focus on flow, control and technique with support and tips from skilled instructors.
- Meet at Hangurstoppen at 10:00.
- Age limit 17 years.
- At least 4 people must register to run.
We ensure a good atmosphere, a relaxed pace, and a learning process that starts right where you are.
Level
The course is suitable for those who have been skiing for a while, but who want to become more confident in carving and gain more control in turns.
All of these courses are black level, which means that you must be a skilled skier who masters both red and black trails, and is comfortable skiing off-road and on different surfaces.
Course dates
- Carving course for men: Saturday 21 February and Saturday 28 February (10:00–12:30, 150 min)
- Carving course for ladies: Friday 20 February and Friday 27 February (10:00–12:30, 150 min)
- Carving course for adults: Sunday 22 February (10:00–12:30, 150 min)
Weather and snow conditions may affect the course schedule.
Please note that the execution of carving courses depends on snow conditions. If the conditions are not good enough, we will instead set up a freeskiing course at the same level. Voss has some of the best terrain for freeskiing, and on the course we will teach you good techniques for freeskiing and how to find the raw feeling of mastery on the mountainside.
