Areas designed for children

Badnakrokjen (slope 20) is located right next to the café at Slettafjellet, Badnakrokjen has a 190‑metre lift designed for young children. The terrain is ideal for play, fun and meeting new friends. There are also two open‑air huts with seating for 8–10 people each. Badnakrokjen is open on weekends, holidays and public holidays. A free children’s ski race is held every day at 12:00. Everyone who participates receives a prize.

Trollbakken (slope 4) is a children's area at Hangurstoppen, right in front of Hangurstoppen Restaurant. It is therefore a short distance to both dining and toilet facilities, in addition to the ski school and ski rental which are also located here. Trollbakken has a gentle slope and a 65-meter-long ski run with a roof overhang. A perfect area to learn to ski. Take the gondola from the city center or the Express lift from Bavallen to get to Trollbakken.

Grebbesbakken (slope 12) is located in Bavallen, is free to use. This 50‑metre, gentle slope is perfect for young children getting an early and safe start on skis. It’s suitable for both cross‑country and alpine beginners. Adult beginners who want an easy introduction to skiing also enjoy this area.

Children must be 10 years or older and taller than 140 cm to ride the chairlift alone. For more details, please see our safety rules.
