Four places to eat at Voss Resort

Our dining venues have something for every taste. Some are made for a meal you set aside time for, others for a twenty-minute break with your ski boots on.

Hangurstoppen Restaurant is located at the top of the gondola, 818 meters above sea level, and is the largest restaurant in the mountains of Voss. Here you can enjoy hot food made from good ingredients, with a view of Voss and the surrounding mountains. The restaurant is open all year round and welcomes both individual guests, tour groups and companies. Suitable for those who want a proper meal with a view.
Storastovo is located on Slettafjellet, in the middle of the ski terrain. Here we serve hamburgers, sausages and soup — food you can get quickly and eat with your equipment on. On sunny days we fire up the grill on the terrace. Storastovo is also open during the evening ski race. Perfect for a short break on the slopes.
Gamle Hangursrestauranten has what many believe is the most beautiful view in Voss! Suitable for those who want something different than the usual mountain food.
Varmestovo is located in Bavallen, right by the slope. Here you can get hot cocoa or coffee, freshly baked buns, panini and other kiosk food. The hot tub is open during the evening ski season. Suitable for families with children and anyone who needs a quick break without taking off their skis.

Opening hours and season

Hangurstoppen Restaurant is open all year round. Storastovo, Gamle Hangursrestauranten and Varmestova follow the winter season, and several of them remain open during the evening hours. In the summer you can take the gondola to Hangurstoppen: it runs daily from May 1st to October 18th.

Opening hours vary depending on season, weather and operating conditions. Always check the updated opening hours before you arrive.

How to get to Voss

The gondola goes from the center of Voss up to Hangurstoppen, 818 meters above sea level. If you reserve a table, the gondola ticket costs 100 NOK after 12 noon, which makes dinner on the mountain more affordable than you think.

If you reserve a table, the gondola ticket costs 100 NOK after 12 noon. Otherwise, the regular price applies.

No, drop-ins are fine. We still recommend reservations at Hangurstoppen Restaurant on weekends, during high season, and for groups.
