New Funslope and further investment in park in Voss Resort
For the winter of 26/27, Voss Resort is taking new steps in the development of the ski area through exciting new features and improvements in collaboration with ShapeCrew. The goal is to create even more experiences for families, children, young people and guests who want to develop their skills on skis and snowboards.
Funslope from Hangurstoppen
One of the biggest innovations this winter is the establishment of a completely new Funslope from Hangurstoppen and down towards Vossatassen (trail 9).
A Funslope combines regular skiing with playful elements such as measured turns, waves, jumps and other creative elements that make the trip down the mountain an experience in itself. The concept is developed to create skiing joy, mastery and activity for both children, youth and adults.
The new Funslopen will run parallel to the Family Trail down towards Vossatassen. In the long term, the plan is also to connect Funslopen and the Vossatassen area into an even larger play and activity area.
The bathroom is being further developed
The Badnakrokjen has been an important arena for the youngest guests for several years. This winter, the area will be further developed and expanded with more elements and lines that facilitate play, mastery and progression. There will be both a light green and a dark green line.
The area has been developed with a focus on safety, play and mastery, and will be a natural arena for the youngest guests and for anyone who wants to become confident on park elements at their own pace.
The children's ski race moves to Trollbakken
Every weekend and during holidays, a free children's ski race is held in Voss Resort. This has previously been held in Badnakrokjen. To make the event more accessible, we are now moving the children's ski race to Trollbakken.
The new location will provide a better setting for the event and make it possible for even more children to participate.
Working on better access to Alphaparken
Alphaparken, which offers both blue and red lines, is an attractive area for both beginners and more experienced park riders. Work is currently underway to improve access by improving the Alphacross (blue trail) as the entrance to the park.
The goal is to make the park more accessible both for those who want to try the park for the first time, and for those who want to develop their skills further.
