News for the winter season 2026/2027
For the winter of 26/27, Voss Resort is taking new steps in the development of the ski area through exciting new features and improvements in collaboration with ShapeCrew. The goal is to create even more experiences for families, children, young people and guests who want to develop their skills on skis and snowboards.
The Tråstøl trail gets a boost
We have made several improvements to the Tråstølsløypa in recent years, and before the 2026/27 season we have taken another step forward. At the top of the trail, the terrain has been blasted and leveled to create a smoother route, while parts of the snowmaking system have been upgraded for more efficient and reliable snow production.
The result is a trail with better flow and smoother terrain, while the need for snow is reduced. This gives us greater opportunity to open Tråstølsløypa earlier and lays the foundation for an even better skiing experience throughout the season.

Better flow into Alphaparken
Alphaparken is a popular gathering place for both beginners and experienced park riders, with both blue and red lines providing challenges at different levels. Now work is underway to make access to the park even better through improvements to the Alphacross (blue trail), which serves as the entrance to the area.
The goal is to create a more natural and inviting transition into the park, so that the threshold is lower for those who want to try park driving for the first time.
At the same time, it will be easier for experienced riders to use the entire park area to further develop their skills. The result will be a more accessible and attractive park for everyone.
Winter's biggest news: New Funslope from Hangurstoppen
One of the biggest innovations this winter is the establishment of a completely new Funslope from Hangurstoppen and down towards Vossatassen (trail 9).
A Funslope combines regular skiing with playful elements such as measured turns, waves, jumps and other creative elements that make the trip down the mountain an experience in itself. The concept is developed to create skiing joy, mastery and activity for both children, youth and adults.
The new Funslopen will run parallel to the Family Trail down towards Vossatassen. In the long term, the plan is also to connect Funslopen and the Vossatassen area into an even larger play and activity area.

More play and mastery in Badnakrokjen
The Badnakrokjen has been a favorite among our youngest guests for many years, and this winter we will be expanding the area with several new elements and lines. The expansion will include both a light green and a dark green line, so that children and beginners can find challenges that suit their level.
The goal is to create an even more exciting area for play, learning and mastery. Here, the youngest will be able to explore park elements in a safe environment, build self-confidence and develop their skills at their own pace.
The children's ski race moves to Trollbakken
Every weekend and during holidays, a free children's ski race is held in Voss Resort. This has previously been held in Badnakrokjen. To make the event more accessible, we are now moving the children's ski race to Trollbakken.
The new location will provide a better setting for the event and make it possible for even more children to participate.
