Voss Resort sets new guest record
In glorious winter weather, Voss Resort set a new record with over 5,000 guests at the ski resort – the highest number of guests ever!
With all lifts and most of the slopes open, there were good opportunities for guests to spread out in the resort and at the same time experience the various restaurant offerings.
– We see a positive effect from an increasing number of international guests, good connections for skiers who live along the Bergen Railway, which makes it easy to get to Voss Resort, and not least a large number of local skiers in the ski resort, says Jonas Bauer, operational manager for Voss Resort.
This is also an effect of the investments that have been made in the facility in recent years with the gondola, Hangurstoppen Restaurant and not least the Tråstølsekspressen, which have opened up the mountain with completely new possibilities.
Snow production has continued after the New Year, and is now complete. Now we are just waiting for some natural snow before all the trails can be opened. We look forward to the coming weeks with more exciting events. First up is Voi Voi Après-ski with a live band on February 1st, who will deliver a show and a good atmosphere at Hangurstoppen.
A day with so many guests naturally puts the entire ski resort to the test. All in all, we can say that it has gone very well, while of course we see areas that need to be developed in order to be able to accommodate all the guests on the big days. Many good experiences that we will take with us in our further work.
