Why Hangurstoppen is worth the trip

Hangurstoppen Restaurant is located 818 meters above sea level, at the top of the gondola, and is the largest mountain restaurant in Voss.

From the table you can see out over the Vossafjella Mountains. With us, the panoramic view is not an addition to the meal, it is part of it. In the summer you eat with green hills and blue water below you. In the winter with snow-capped mountains on all sides.

The menu ranges from appetizers and light dishes to mountain classics, burgers and pizza, and we have our own children's menu. The size of the restaurant means that we can accommodate everything from a table for two to hiking groups and parties.

We have drop-ins for all guests, but if you want to be sure of getting a seat, we recommend reserving a table in advance.

Gondola ticket for 100 NOK after 12 noon

When you make a table reservation after 12:00, you will receive a round-trip gondola ticket for NOK 100. After the reservation is completed, you will be sent a promo code that gives a discount when you order a gondola ticket online.

How to get to the top

The journey to the restaurant is spectacular: you have to take the gondola to get there. To get to Hangurstoppen Restaurant, take the gondola from Voss station, fast, easy and environmentally friendly.

Tickets for the gondola must be ordered by the guest themselves, and can be purchased online or at the ticket office at Voss station.

Opening hours and season

Hangurstoppen Restaurant is open all year round, and the gondola provides easy and quick access. The gondola runs daily from May 1 to October 18, and throughout the winter season it follows the opening hours of the ski center.
