Gondola question

No. You can buy a ticket when you arrive at th gondola. To save time and avoid queues, we recommend buying your ticket online in advance. During peak times there can be queues at Guest Service (ticket office), so you can also use our ticket machines at both the lower and upper stations.

Yes, gondola tickets and ski lift day passes are only valid for the date you choose. You cannot change this later.

If you have purchased a gondola ticket online, you can go straight in. If you have purchased a ski lift and gondola card, and charged a Keycard that you already have, you can go straight into the lift/gondola. On first pass you must hold the card for 3-5 seconds. so that the ticket is loaded onto the Keycard.

If you do not already have a Keycard and have ordered it online, you must visit the ticket office or one of our machines to pick up your card.

No. All our ski passes include a gondola ticket in the winter. This is because for many people the gondola will function as a ski lift. You do not pay anything extra for this.

If you only want to take the gondola and not ski, you can buy a gondola ticket only.

Yes – for collective bookings for more than 15 people. Bookings must be made during office hours Monday – Friday and at least 24 hours before arrival. Please contact us at post@vossresort.no for group bookings.

You do not need a Keycard for a round-trip gondola ticket, but if you want to have a day pass or season pass for the gondola, or use the ski lifts in the winter season, you must have a Keycard. This also applies to children under six years of age.

Yes! We have a 40% student discount on day passes, and special student prices on season passes and gondolas. All prices can be found in our price list. The discount applies every day, including holidays. Remember to bring a valid student ID.

You can decide for yourself how many trips you want to take with the gondola, whether it's one trip or many trips over the course of a day, month or year. We have different ticket types to accommodate different uses of the gondola.

Yes! You absolutely can. You don't pay anything extra to bring your dog.

We have both an escalator and an elevator that transport you between the floors at the lower station, before you enter the gondola cabin. Please let the gondola host know if you would prefer to take the elevator with your dog.

We remind you that dogs must be on a leash, and that you cannot bring dogs into the restaurant at the top (but there are good outdoor spaces with tables and benches).

Yes – definitely! Elevators (at both the upper and lower stations) easily transport you between the floors of the building. When you enter the gondola cabin itself, we adjust the speed of boarding and disembarking as needed. In four of our cabins (all the yellow ones), we have also removed the middle seats, so that there is extra floor space.

We also recommend a trip to the beautiful Hanguren Panorama, as well as a visit to our restaurant.

Questions – Keycard

If you want to have a day pass or season pass for the gondola, or use the ski lifts in the winter season, you must have a Keycard. This also applies to children under six years of age.

If you already have a Keycard: You can top this up in our online store. The keycard is automatically loaded on your first ride in the elevator when you go through the turnstile.

If you don't already have a Keycard: Buy this online with us when you buy your lift ticket. When you come to us, you pick up your Keycard at guest service or in one of our vending machines. The next time you visit us, you can top up this Keycard before you arrive and go straight into the lift.

If someone in your group has a Keycard, while others don't already have one, you can still purchase one in our online store. Top up the Keycard for those of you who do, and buy a new one for those who don't already have one.

The number is on the back of the card and contains only numbers, not letters.

The cards you can use with us are: SKIDATA card. TEAM AXESS, SKISTAR and possibly others do not work.

Contact guest service, remember the receipt so we can help you.
Always double-check that you have the correct Keycard with you before leaving home.

Cards purchased online can be picked up at our vending machines 24/7, or at guest service in Bavallen (open during the ski season) and at the lower station Voss Gondol (open all year round).

Keycard should be placed in pocket on left side. Place all your other Keycards/travel cards/credit cards etc. on the right side.

Questions – general about the resort and ski center

If you have lost something in our facility, please send us an email at post@vossresort.no.We would appreciate it if you would attach the following information to the email:

  • What have you lost?
  • Model/brand/color
  • Special characteristics (for example, is it marked with a name?)
  • Where you lost the item (if you know this)

Please note that we do not have unlimited storage space for lost and found items. Unclaimed items will be thrown away or given to Fretex or the refugee reception center after one month. At the end of the season, we empty the lost and found items, so if you lost something last season, it will not be with us the following season.

No, it's different. For family return and one-way tickets, 2 adults and all children under 18 years of age are included.

Family tickets for season and year-round passes include 2 adults and all children under 20 years of age at the same address.

With a loyalty card you get a discount on all single tickets: round trip, single gondola ride, day pass, ski pass, hour pass, morning pass, single ride and evening pass in the ski resort. There is no discount on season passes, year-round passes and ambassador passes.

Holders of companion certificates pay the regular ticket/card, while companions go free. These tickets/cards must be purchased at one of our ticket offices.

Children from 0-6 years old get free lift tickets when using a helmet!

Lift tickets are available by contacting the ticket office and cannot be purchased in the online store.
Children who turn 7 during the season will not be issued a season ticket, but can pick up a free day ticket for the day.

Children under 7 years old ride the Voss Gondol for free when accompanied by a paying adult. They do not need to purchase their own ticket for the round trip or one-way, as they go through the turnstiles together with their parents/guardians. For day passes, children under 7 years old must have a keycard.

Yes – we have special prices for kindergartens and schools. The offer is valid during kindergarten and school hours and only by prior arrangement via email, at the latest the day before arrival.
